One New Construction Home I inspected in Cedar Park had over 100 damaged shingles that both the builder and city inspector missed because neither walked the roof and the damage was not visible from the ground.
Historic Homes are fast becoming my favorite to inspect. I love the craftsmanship and architectural detail that was put into these houses. The home pictured has 3996 sqft and was built in 1890. It is one of the very few times I have gotten a before picture and really enjoyed seeing the differences in elevation and how they accomplished the re-modeling of such a great old home. When scheduling historic home inspections I allow for a full day so I can take my time and do the best job possible.
